How many glasses of water do you drink a day? I have been eating so healthy and getting my exercise in daily! I wanted to add ingredients to my water to benefit my health even more. Our body needs water to flush out toxins, give us energy and aid in digestion.
Herbs are also very beneficial to add to our water. I have several different mints growing in the garden. They are beneficial for digestion. Mint is a natural diuretic can help stop colitis along with irritable bowel syndrome. Mint contains vitamins C, A,along with B12. Bottom line is trying to get at least 8 glasses of water a day at the minimum.
So refreshing and easy.
- Slice the Grapefruit, lemons and cucumbers.
- Peel the grapefruit if it is not organic, same with the lime.
- Add your mint
- Fill a large pitcher and let sit for a few hours in the fridge.
- Drink at least one glass before each meal and then throughout the day.
I keep this in the fridge for about five days. Just keep filling it when it gets about half way.
