A Healthy Lean Cuisine Lunch #CBias #FrozenFavorites

Being that I am a 46 year old woman I have to watch what I eat a lot better then I did when I was in my 30's.  It's just a fact of life that your metabolism slows a bit.  I have also been on an up and down roller coaster with my work out habits.  I work from home so I fend for myself when I am not taking care of making my husbands breakfast, lunch and dinner and that does not even count the kids that come through my door.  They all are healthy eaters as well so I am always trying to prepare great snacks and meals for them to eat here or take with them.  September brings that old back to school feeling I love.  A fresh new start to a new season.  I am going to take better care of what I eat during the day.  I decided to head to one of my favorite places to shop and set off for Sam's Club to pick up some Lean Cuisine.

The thing I love about frozen foods is the great assortment that they have to offer.  The healthy choices are so convenient for me.  I love pairing a frozen food with a fresh salad or something from the garden.  It makes me feel like I really spent time in the kitchen.  I found the Lean Cuisine Oriental flavors online when I was browsing.  I like to have a bit of a game plan before I shop, thus always have a list.  I picked the Lean Cuisine up for under $12.00 along with some other staples for the freezer.  The Lean Cuisine is an inexpensive lunch for me and when my daughter pops in and raids my freezer.  You cannot beat the price of $1.88 a meal.

I decided to make spring rolls today for a fresh flavor of the Orient and the fresh flavor from Lean Cuisine.
I am counting calories so the word Lean sounds wonderful.   I was home and laid all the varieties out, decisions decisions.

What a simple easy nutritious meal to make for myself. We are on a mission to eat six small meals a day.  I am pretty good at drinking plenty of water since I am addicted to mineral water.  The Lean Cuisine is a perfect match and it is totally economical. I decide today to prepare the Ginger Garlic Stir fry with Chicken.  I am pairing Spring Rolls with it.  How fabulous is that?

I cut up my veggies.  Today I am including the Daikon Radish, Carrots, Cucumbers, Green Onion and a few different sauces.

Mix it all up and add my liquid seasoning along with a tablespoon of Ginger.
I then made the Spring Rolls while the Lean Cuisine cooked in the oven.

I could here everything bubbling away in the oven and it was smelling awesome.

This came out of the oven in about 20 minutes cooking at 350 Degrees.   This is the Ginger Garlic Stir fry with Chicken.    This is part of the Spa Collection.   Only 290 Calories.  A whopping 17 Grams of Protein.  That is crucial when I am looking at prepared frozen foods.
