I am a day late with Motivation Monday. I have decided to pledge to the Sistahood. Why you ask? How many social groups can one be in with so little time? The idea of supporting others is something that is true to my heart. My past profession was an IT trainer, pulling woman up and out of their comfort zone was part of my job that I loved so much. Their fear to have to learn a new computer system actually had woman thinking of quitting their job. How exciting to be part of a community that is healthy and supportive. I need it and want to give it back.
Since the move onto the farm last September the days have been flying buy since Spring Sprung and our long winter is behind us. Our Winter was pretty tame but still you cannot work outside here in Minnesota. Working out went by the wayside as I planned and dreamed through winter and early spring.
This summer I am finding myself very unhappy with what I am seeing in the mirror, not working out can have a 46 year old body go down hill fast. I started hitting it hard over the last month and am slowly making my way back. Time has been crunched. I have 15 Chickens still in my basement getting bigger and bigger, hubby has all week off to "get er done'. He is out there as I type and I am praying for no rain.
I am running again but have only went about 3 miles and not at a fast clip. My goals this week..
Making my meals ahead of time in the morning will help a lot! Boosting my metabolism through specific foods! A little education helps.
- Workout 4 times this week
- Take the dogs for an evening walk through the back forty every single night.
- Get in my bubble baths and naps :-)
- Gardening (Hey it is a workout!)
- Run three times this week as well
