Shrimp and Spicy Sausage Jambalaya Soup

We are such a soup cooking house. I made this the other night, my daughter took a large tupperware bowl with her to her boyfriends house. He loved it! My daughter stopped by last night to get the ingredients so she could make a batch for her boyfriend that night.

I was so happy to have everything in the pantry and fridge and that it is so simple!

  • 1 Box Jambalaya Flavored Rice
  • 2 Cans Tomatoes and Green Chilies
  • 1 Large can Tomato Juice or Vegatable Juice
  • Half a Red Onion
  • 3 to 4 Celery Stalks
  • 2 Jalapeno
  • Couple Garlic Cloves
  • 1 Package of Sausage we buy spicy
  • 16 ounce cooked Shrimp

Chop Onion, Celery, Jalapeno, Green Pepper and Garlic

Mmm Jalapeno..

Garlic I love you too.

Saute it all up..

Add the Sausage

Next the Tomatoes and Green Chilies

Add the Tomatoe Juice and the Rice

Add the Shrimp right at the end..  Simmer it all up..  I forgot to snap a picture of the shrimp :-)
