Repurposed Sink for Gardening

It was crazy beautiful weather this weekend. We started working on a few projects. I have an old kitchen sink that I found in the back of shed number two that will be my garden shed. We are really working on repurposing everything we can on the farm. I bought bulbs last year and never got around to planting the so I thought I would get out and start planting. Look at the bulb in my hand it is ready to grow already!

I layered hay at the bottom because it was very deep then I added Black Dirt that I received from a local farmer. This is rich black!

Here are my bulbs, we just picked them up at the end of the season from Walmart for cheap.

I dug holes that were as deep as each bulb, I put the tallest in the back. I kept the colors all together for a striking view when folks drive by.

Cover them up give them a good watering every day and enjoy when they bloom mid Spring.
