Paying It Forward #KmartHoliday Style #Cbias

I am so thrilled to have been part of this project. My mother in law is sort of a crabby lady. I can say this because I have known her for about 28 years. Her son is the oldest along with another son who is a year older than me whom she does not get along with and two daughters she is closer with, one being 40 and the other oh around 35. Kathy is her name. We have never been close and when I was younger I was a bit fiesty anyway. I had the first grandchild and the first male. Was there a picture of her sons children to be placed anywhere in her home, nope.. Her girls and there children are everywhere. That always hurt me.

Years pass. My kids are 27, 23 and 21. Kathy ask's how the kids are and are proud of them but while I was there last night I took a look around and still not a picture in sight of her son or grandchildren. LOL, I actually chuckled to my self. You see Kathy is my husbands mom and I have come to care for her. She can be very negative, along with confrontational to her neighbors. With that kind of personalite she is a lonley lady. We take out at least once a week to the local Pub where she plays pull tabs or Bingo. I take her to the doctor or the grocery store.

I wanted to bring her cheer this Holiday Season and was so excited to bring her this large Tree Trimming Kit from Kmart. I was in a bit of a panic because she had just gotten out of the hospital. We were not sure if she was going to be home in time. When we got there she was sitting at the table with her nurse. Her nurse was so funny and cheerful.

Kathy loves birds and was thrilled at seeing the beautiful birds and birdhouses. It looks like we got the Country Living Trim Kit

These are some of the items in the kit. I began unpacking while my mother in law was finishing up.

These are the Country Living Vintage Christmas Polyresin Ornaments Kathy fell in love with them immediately.

We started the decorating.

We were singing Christmas Songs and oohing and aweing the ornaments.

We are the best busy little beavers. It really made me feel so good knowing we could do this for her especially since she was just out of the hospital.

It was time to head home so I gave my Mother In Law a hug and wished her love and good health and we would see her over the weekend.
