New Year New Resolutions?

I seem to be antsy for 2012 my husband told me this morning.  I have been cooking and cleaning like I am nine months pregnant :-) It was such a great end of the year with our move in September, the few months before September were emotional and stressful moving a house you lived in for over eleven years.

I have yet to write out my Resolutions or Goals.  I need to write out my goals for my blog as well.  Do I stay at Blogger or make the big move to Wordpress..

Do I move it myself or ask Blogelina to help me?  They have a Total Blogger to Wordpress Transfer Package

BUT I want to watch my time and free myself from things that others could do quicker for me.  So that is something on the top of my list.

I also want to get to at least Two Blog Conferences and find sponsors.  Where to start with that?  Any suggestions and I love you!!  I am a found girl and would love to attend a conference with fellow bloggers and do some partying!  Speaking of, my two fave gifts I got from my Father and Step Mother in law..

My father In Law and Step Mother In Law are quite the jokesters LOL..

I am an x IT Professional who dealt with sales reps and customer service with mainframe and software moves. I moved data under extreme stress and time constraints on a monthly basis for over seven years.  I deal awesome under pressure btw.  Yea little blonde ol' me was a Corporate IT Gal who never had a college education.. Wow.. When you have goals and believe in yourself you can truly get places.  Well our department was downsized by a mean old lady who pointed her finger at all of us and said..  "Do Any Of You Have Your Masters?" I DO she said and This department will be split up.  I watched my boss who worked for this company for over 25 years be let go.

That was December of 2005.  Since then the only person in charge of my dreams and financial livelihood besides my husband is ME.  Since last year was a turning point for many reasons in my life i.e.  Kids graduating college (My son is already preparing to work on his MBA) kids moving out, husbands job takes care of him extremely well and my dream of living on a farm has come true I want 2012 to start off with a spark.

What about you?  Do you make resolutions or Goals?

  1. I set goals, but I am constantly setting goals. I don't save goal setting for that one day a year, KWIM?

  4. I do New Year's intentions and not resolutions. Resolutions are something for the FUTURE, intent is for the present.

  7. I don't make resolutions but I do make goals. I make them as I feel the need, not just at the start of the year.

  11. Yes, you need to move to WordPress. Do it!

No resolutions, no goals, no direction for me. I'm willy nilly!

    Happy New Year!
